Will a hairline crack in pottery fuse in a kiln?

I have several pieces that have given rise to hairline cracks during drying. These do not go farther than the surface, and I was hoping that once I bisque fire (with a coat of underglaze) and refire with a clear coat the crack will be gone. ...Will they?
