Required to withdraw from University, anything I can do?

So i've just completed my last year at university, and when I received my results I got a letter telling me I was required to withdraw from university due to the non submission on two units which I was unaware of until I received my results letter. I also failed a couple of exams but I know that you can resit them if that is the case. But is there anything I can do that may allow me to resubmit any work and resit any failed exams, because I dont want it to have been a complete waste of two years of my life. (It was a HND)
