What can I use for a sore throat?

Ok well i have to sing tomorrow...my throat started hurting last night. i tried asprin which kinda helped a littlee..ive been drinking water like a mad man...i tried tea but uck, i couldnt stand it. is there anything i can do that would just be in my house for my throat? :/ thanks!
