I have a walk behind mower,would you know of any way that I can get gr clippings out of the gas tank?

i have a 48 " walk behind mower myself and would like to know how you got the gr in the tank? remove the bolts last is the gas line, tip her upside down and drain your gas. you may need something to get the last few pieces out of there! good luck mate !!!!!!!!
